Old North Davis History
History of the Old North neighborhood of Davis, California
This website provides a collection of historical materials on a
traditional neighborhood in Davis, California called the "Old North" or
"Old North Davis."
The collection is organized into three types of folders.
The first type deals with the area as a whole in the
"1" series of folders, to the left.
The second deals with the 12 face-blocks and the
three east-west streets making up the neighborhood. These
make up the "2" series of folders, to the left.
The third type of folder deals with entities external
to the Old North that have proximate impacts on it. At this time, there
is one folder in the "3" series.
If there are historical materials not on this site that you would like
to see here, or if you would like to participate in developing the site
itself, please contact me at jflofland@ucdavis.edu. Or, simply
browse this site, "step back in time," and enjoy!
