Patwin PTA Volunteer Opportunities
As the school year draws to a close, we are already thinking of the new year. Many volunteer positions within the PTA are still vacant. Your help is needed to make the new year the best it can be. You can help out by volunteering as little as two hours a month. If you are interested in any of the positions listed below, please contact Nicole or Jacki.

School Savings Coordinators:
Volunteers are needed to run the school savings program for the new year. Two parents are needed to serve as coordinators for us to continue the program at Patwin next year. The position is usually a commitment of 1 hour per week and a weekly trip to the bank. Running Club Coordinators:
Do you love Running Club? Want to make a difference in our kids lives? Already committed to coming out each Tuesday and Thursday?
We are looking for two to three volunteers who would like to "run" the Patwin Running Club during the 2008-2009 school year!
The Patwin Running Club has been a huge success, with hundred + runners going for their half, marathon, second marathon, third marathon and more! The club runs two days a week—Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:35 to 3:35.
The Running Club coordinators are responsible for the following: setting up the table and providing water, keeping tally of the runners dotting runners (or recruiting "dotters" each time) announcing milestones in newsletters coordinating t-shirt and water bottle orders with Fleet Feet (our sponsors) ordering awards (medals, etc) for second, third, fourth marathoners!
This is a wonderful way to get to know the amazing kids at Patwin and lots of fun! It can easily be coordinated and a rotating schedule if two to three people want to commit to keeping it going.
